In 2026, LASERDISTRI SERVICE joined the Club Laser et Procédés (CLP), a leading network dedicated to the development and promotion of laser technologies and processes. Specializing in the integration, distribution and support of laser-based surface treatment solutions, the company has established itself as a recognized player in laser cleaning and texturing for demanding industrial sectors.
On this occasion, we met with Clément Daccord, Chief Executive Officer of LASERDISTRI SERVICE, who shared his background, the company’s expertise, and the reasons behind his commitment to the CLP.
Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
“I am Clément Daccord, Chief Executive Officer of LASERDISTRI SERVICE. I have been working in the field of industrial lasers for more than ten years, initially through the operation of a fleet of engraving and cutting machines using UV, CO₂ and fiber laser technologies. This hands-on experience naturally led us to develop our skills and equipment towards laser cleaning and texturing applications, which now form the core of our business.”
Can you present your company and its area of expertise?
“LASERDISTRI SERVICE specializes in the integration, distribution and support of laser-based surface treatment solutions. Our expertise covers the entire equipment life cycle: application consulting, machine supply, operator training, technical support and after-sales service.
We have a dedicated showroom where we welcome customers and prospects to carry out demonstrations and tests on their own samples. Our fully equipped workshop allows us to ensure comprehensive follow-up, from machine assembly and delivery through to operation.
Our technical teams perform demonstrations, commissioning, training and after-sales service in France and across Europe. We currently support a wide range of customers from demanding sectors such as nuclear, plastics, watchmaking, aeronautics and heritage restoration.”
How did you get to know the CLP, and why did you choose to join?
“I learned about the CLP through the professional laser network, in particular via our membership in Photonics France. Joining the CLP was a natural step, as it is a recognized player in connecting industry professionals and structuring the laser sector.”
What do you expect from this collaboration with the CLP?
“This collaboration should above all encourage high-quality technical exchanges and the creation of synergies with other laser players. It is also an opportunity to actively contribute to promoting laser cleaning as a high-performance, sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial alternative to traditional processes.”
What are the latest innovations your company is most proud of?
“We have recently strengthened our offering around high-power pulsed and continuous-wave laser cleaning solutions, covering a power range from 100 W to 6,000 W. These systems integrate laser sources and components that have been carefully selected for their performance and industrial reliability.
At the same time, we place strong emphasis on process parameter optimization and customer support, in order to guarantee repeatable, safe results perfectly adapted to the industrial constraints of each application.”
The joining of LASERDISTRI SERVICE to the CLP in 2026 once again highlights the attractiveness of a network that has been bringing together key players in the laser and photonics industry for 40 years. Through its missions of networking, technology watch and promotion of know-how, the CLP is a strategic lever to support its members in their industrial and technological projects.
The CLP is delighted to welcome LASERDISTRI SERVICE to the association and to rely on its expertise in laser surface treatment, particularly in cleaning and texturing, for the benefit of the entire network.
