Could you introduce your company in a few words?
Precitec offers tailor-made solutions in optical metrology and laser manufacturing (welding, cutting, and additive manufacturing). Our systems are highly technically advanced, high-performance, and adapted to the specific needs of each customer.
Our non-contact measurement systems make a significant contribution to defect-free production. Thanks to our innovative solutions in laser cutting, welding, and additive manufacturing, we are setting new benchmarks in quality, precision, and economic performance for industrial users.
What motivated you to get involved in the co-organization of this event?
The latest editions have clearly demonstrated the growing importance of this must-attend event. Our commitment became obvious. The outstanding quality of the organization, the relevance of the topics covered, and the high level of presentations convinced us of the value of actively contributing. Being part of the organizing team allows us not only to support a meaningful initiative but also to take part in the exchange of knowledge on forward-looking topics.

We particularly enjoyed participating in the 2024 edition, which was held at the Palais de la Bourse in Bordeaux. It not only showcased the dynamic growth of the laser community but also stood out thanks to the choice of an exceptional venue. The successful blend of modernity and tradition helped create an inspiring atmosphere conducive to quality exchanges. We also appreciated the event’s growing openness beyond French borders.

As a first-time co-organiser, we have the opportunity to open the doors of our site for a visit to our headquarters. After over a year of renovation, our new facilities were officially inaugurated in 2024. Welcoming the French laser community to this site and presenting our laser solutions live in our laboratory is a real source of pride for us. All our teams will be on hand to contribute to discussions and answer participants’ questions in a spirit of sharing and collaboration.
