MELIAD

Meliad is a recognized expert in the measurement and control of residual stresses and surface preparation using pulsed laser technology for pre-gluing, pre-painting, pre-welding, post-welding and nuclear decontamination.

Meliad is also an expert in the localized or complete removal of coatings and paints. 

Meliad is equipped with a laboratory featuring 10 Yag and fiber lasers and 3 6-axis robots. We are also developing a differentiating Femtosecond laser nanostructuring activity.

These resources, combined with Meliad's strong technical skills, enable us to carry out testing, fine-tuning, R&D work, provide services and integrate and develop automated, robotized and manual laser stripping and surface preparation machines.

Meliad's vocation is to acquire technologies, either through in-house developments or in partnership, and is the only company in Europe to combine the skills of materials-process expertise, laser surface preparation and stripping technologies through R&D projects, studies, services and laser integration for deployment with our customers.

To support the development of new applications for its customers, Meliad has developed expertise in robotics, enabling the simple automation of numerous processes used in industry: surface preparation and laser stripping, non-destructive testing, plasma treatment, three-dimensional inspection, etc.
