In 2026, Argolight joins the Club Laser & Procédés (CLP), further strengthening the network of stakeholders involved in the development and promotion of laser technologies and processes.
On this occasion, we met with its President, Rysvan Maleck Rassoul, recently appointed to lead the company. He reflects on his background, Argolight’s expertise, and the reasons behind the company’s decision to join the CLP.
Could you introduce yourself in a few words?
“I joined the presidency of Argolight in August 2025. I have been working in the field of photonics, and more specifically lasers, for around thirty years.”
Could you present your company and its area of expertise?
“Argolight provides quality control solutions for the international fluorescence microscopy market. The company innovates based on three pillars that form its core expertise: glass manufacturing, laser inscription–based functionalization of these glasses, and the digital intelligence developed around the functions of these glasses.”
How did you become familiar with the CLP, and why did you choose to join?
“I am familiar with the CLP through its President, John Lopez, with whom I have worked in the past. Joining the CLP allows Argolight to position itself within an ecosystem where the company finds its full relevance.”
What do you expect from this collaboration with the CLP?
“This collaboration should help strengthen Argolight’s visibility as a French supplier of functionalized photonic components, as well as create opportunities for national, European, and international partnerships.”
What are the latest innovations your company is most proud of?
“A functionalized glass designed for the calibration of light-sheet microscopes.”
Argolight’s membership as a new CLP member in 2026 illustrates the attractiveness of a network that has been bringing together players in the industrial laser sector for 40 years. Through its missions of networking, visibility, and information sharing, the CLP supports its members in developing their activities and promoting their expertise.
The CLP is pleased to welcome Argolight to the association and to contribute to the dissemination of its expertise across the entire network.
