The PLI Conferences 2025, a key gathering dedicated to industrial laser processes, will take place on September 24–25 in Strasbourg, at the CCI Campus Alsace. Each year, researchers, industry players, experts, and users come together to share the latest technological breakthroughs and industrial laser applications.
While the event is led by the CLUB LASER & PROCÉDÉS with its co-organizers, it also benefits from the support of federating actors who contribute to its visibility. Among them is Photonics France, the French Photonics Federation, which helps amplify the ecosystem’s momentum by engaging its members and the wider community.
Its Managing Director, Ivan Testart, explains why this collaboration naturally fits with the federation’s mission.
How did you first hear about the PLI Conferences, and what motivated you to get involved?
“We have known the PLI Conferences since their creation. As the national federation for photonics in France, we support the major initiatives of our photonics associations that drive the ecosystem. Industrial laser technologies are booming, particularly thanks to innovation, and the PLI Conferences are a great platform to showcase them.”
What role do you play as a partner, and how do you help promote or support the event?
“Quite naturally, we contribute to the visibility of this event by promoting it widely among our members and within the French photonics community, through email campaigns and posts on LinkedIn.”
What do you enjoy most about this event, and which highlights are you looking forward to?
“The networking evening! Of course, we know that networking opportunities are invaluable for exchanging ideas, building partnerships, and discovering what the players in the field are working on.”
In your view, how is this type of partnership beneficial for your organization and for your community?
“The diversity, complementarity, and expertise of our associations in France give our members—companies and research labs alike—multiple opportunities for expression and exchange around photonics. Photonics France cannot provide this alone, and that’s a strength!”
By partnering with the PLI Conferences 2025, Photonics France reinforces its role as a federating relay, amplifying the initiatives carried by its associations and showcasing the innovations driving the photonics sector. More than just a series of talks, the event is a space for encounters and synergies across the laser and photonics community in France.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with an engaged network, discover cutting-edge technological solutions, and share experiences.
Join us on September 24–25, 2025, in Strasbourg for two days of networking at the heart of industrial photonics!
