The CLP and its Premium Members – Interview with INDUSTRIAL LASER SYSTEMS

Beyond technology, the Club Laser et Procédés (CLP) shines a light on the men and women who bring innovation to life. Through the series “The CLP and its Premium Members,” we meet those whose expertise and commitment drive progress across the French laser industry.

Today, we focus on INDUSTRIAL LASER SYSTEMS (I.L.S), the French subsidiary of the ATLENSYS Group. Specializing in the design and integration of customized laser systems, the company embodies the spirit of engineering dedicated to precision and performance.
Its Sales Manager, Nicolas Chaise, shares how I.L.S turns research into tangible industrial solutions and why its Premium membership with the CLP aligns with a collective vision for the future of laser technology.

Can you introduce your company and its area of expertise?

“I.L.S is the French subsidiary of the ATLENSYS Group, specialized in the design and integration of tailor-made laser systems for industrial applications. We support our clients from the R&D phase to full-scale production, combining opto-mechanical expertise, automation, and process validation.”

What recent innovations or achievements are you most proud of?

“We have developed 3Dflex, a modular laser cell dedicated to micro-machining and precision welding. This concept, born from close collaboration within our teams, illustrates our ability to turn research into reliable and scalable industrial solutions.”

How long have you been a member of the Club Laser et Procédés, and what does this membership bring you?

“As a long-standing member of the CLP, I.L.S benefits from a unique ecosystem of technical exchange and sectoral insight. This membership allows us to contribute actively to the growth of the French laser industry and to strengthen our academic and industrial partnerships.”

Why did you choose the Premium Member status, and what benefits does it offer?

“The Premium status reflects our desire to support the development of the French laser industry and promote its visibility. It provides us with greater exposure among key stakeholders and reinforces our collective commitment within the CLP network.”

In your opinion, what are the main innovations or trends shaping the laser sector?

“The future of industrial laser technology lies in the intelligent integration of processes — combining laser technology with vision systems, artificial intelligence, and automation. These advancements will make applications more precise, sustainable, and flexible, ultimately driving higher industrial performance.”

Through the insights of Nicolas Chaise, INDUSTRIAL LASER SYSTEMS conveys a strong conviction: the future of industrial laser technology will be intelligent, connected, and collaborative.
By combining technological innovation with collective engagement, the company demonstrates how the CLP Premium membership can be a true catalyst for visibility, knowledge sharing, and co-development.

Because progress is built together, the Club Laser et Procédés invites visionary companies to join this network of excellence and contribute to the continued growth of the French laser industry.
