MICRONORA 2026: CLP organizes a half-day conference on micro technologies for the ASD sector

On the Micronora 2026 trade show, the Club Laser & Procédés (CLP) will organize a half-day technical conference dedicated to micro technologies applied to the Aerospace, Space, and Defense (ASD) sectors.

Join us on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, right in the heart of the exhibition in Besançon, France!

This session is part of the Micronora 2026 Zoom theme, focused on innovative technologies and processes for ASD applications. It will bring together experts to share technological advances, feedback from real-world applications, and innovation perspectives in the field of laser processes and micro technologies.

Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session to encourage technical discussions and direct interactions with the speakers.

A rich program led by industry players

This half-day will feature several well-known companies from the laser ecosystem.

The conferences will cover topics such as:
- Metal additive manufacturing for aerospace and defense applications
- Laser safety in ASD environments
- High-precision laser micro-machining
- Industrial applications of femtosecond lasers
- Surface functionalization using ultrafast lasers
- Advanced metrology and non-destructive analysis techniques
- Next-generation high-power ultrafast laser sources

These presentations will highlight the growing role of laser technologies in miniaturization, precision, and performance of critical components used in aerospace, space, and defense sectors.
