In line with its mission to strengthen ties between science and industry, PLI Conferences is launching a Poster Session dedicated to PhD students.
This new feature aims to highlight emerging research while fostering exchanges between young researchers, academic laboratories, and industrial players in the field of laser processes.
Designed as a key moment within the scientific program, this session offers PhD candidates the opportunity to present their latest findings, share their research results, and connect with companies seeking new expertise. For industry stakeholders, it is also a gateway to the innovations of tomorrow and to a pool of young talent trained in state-of-the-art laser technologies.
The session will include:
- A poster exhibition available throughout the entire conference,
- A short and dynamic oral presentation for each PhD student during a plenary session (2 minutes, 2 slides),
- A dedicated networking time, ideally combined with a coffee break to encourage informal discussions and interaction.
A call for contributions will be issued to relevant research laboratories, with poster selection based on scientific quality and industrial relevance.
A Best Poster Award may also be presented by a dedicated committee—an additional opportunity to recognize and reward outstanding work.
With this new session, PLI Conferences aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, support the next generation of researchers, and enrich the scientific experience offered to all participants.
Doctoral students will benefit from a preferential rate (250 €) to facilitate their participation and support their engagement within the scientific community.
